Myrtle on Cypress
While at the Monarch Butterfly Grove in Pismo Beach, I was captivated by this little guy, a Myrtle Warbler I was told, resting on a Monterrey Cypress tree.
There were a dozen or so of these small birds flying around among the monarchs, and I was so happy to get a few of this one sitting still for a moment.
